Inside the Training Centre

FITA has a considerable number of instructors who lead our courses. Each instructor is highly skilled in the installation of a wide range of floorcoverings and is perfectly placed to offer the best possible guidance and advice during the courses.

Our training centre in Kirkcaldy is located on the east coast of Scotland within easy reach of Edinburgh by car via the A90/M90. The local Kirkcaldy bus and railway stations also give easy access for those travelling by public transport. The centre has 7 fitting bays, conference facilities and there are facilities for making refreshments. We provide lunches as part of the course package.

How to find the training centre from North/East

• From the A92 at the Redhouse roundabout take the 1st exit for Rosslyn Street/A921
• At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Dunnikier Way/ B981
• At the roundabout take the first exit onto Overton Road
• Turn right on Junction Road
• Turn right onto Smeaton Road
• Turn left onto Den Road
• Forbo will be on your right

How to find the training centre from South/West

• From the A92, take the A910/B981 exit towards Kirkcaldy West/Cardenden
• At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A910
• Go through 1 roundabout
• At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Chapel Level/B981
• Continue to follow B981
• Go straight on at the next 3 roundabouts
• At the traffic lights turn right onto Whytemans Brae
• At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Hayfield road
• Turn right onto Denburn Road
• Turn left onto Smeaton Road
• Take the first right onto Den Road
• Continue and Forbo will be on your right
