FITA Hosting Demo Zone at Surface and Materials Show

FITA enjoys an enormous amount of support from manufacturers involved in the flooring industry and it’s increasingly easy to see why. Adding to the traditional and annual programme at Harrogate, FITA is also this year hosting a demo zone at the Surface and Materials Show which is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from 18-20 October and is part of the larger UK Construction Week event.

FITA will be working with its sponsors and supporters to give a flavour of how to achieve the best results with a variety of flooring products and materials.

Morning session - Subfloor Preparation

10:30 Repair and Patching Mortars / Smoothing Compounds
11:30 Plywood
12:15 Break

Afternoon session - Floorlaying and Carpet Installation

13:00 Vinyl Installation - including Welding
14.00 Carpet Installation including:

• Preparation/Grippers/Door Bars and Underlay
• Stretch fit including Power Stretching
• Carpet Joins

16.00 Close
